The Natural World

Nature and outdoor ceremonies have been very important to many of my couples. In our technological age, it may be seen as a reminder of what is real or it may be simple appreciation of the peace and beauty of the natural world.
A year and a day was once the traditional amount of time that was to pass before a rite of passage such as marriage. This time frame was intended for a couple to notice the changes of the seasons and contemplate how they mirror life, love and relationships.
All the worlds religions celebrate holidays that parallel the seasons, making an outdoor ceremony and it's metaphors, the perfect choice for an Interfaith Ceremony or for a Secular Ceremony. Nature has no conflict with any path... Nature simply is.
Now if that doesn't sound like LOVE I don't know what does.
