The texture of your skin is going to dictate how your makeup appears. If you have patches of dry skin, dehydration, or bumps from clogged pores or excess oil, adding any kind of foundation, will cover discoloration but will not change the texture and overall appearance.
If you’ve ever had to spackle a wall before painting, everyone knows you have to sand it in between or else your paint is going to look lumpy and bumpy, well the same goes for your skin
For deeper lines, acne scars and pitting....Microneedling also known as collagen induction therapy will trigger your own natural collagen and elastin production to fill in lines and scars. I use PROCELL THERAPY in my practice which incorporates a stem cell and cytokine serum that is penetrated into the skin during this treatment. This serum is absorbed into the tiny microscopic openings ading in healing and collagen remodeling.
All skin treatments require multiple sessions. Great skin requires maintenance and daily care. Start caring for your skin while your skin is still youthful and use products to help preserve that youthfulness.
VITAMIN C, used topically, helps to prevent dark spots from forming. More importantly, it wards off free radicals which are in our every day environment and they break down our collagen and elastin.

So what can you do?
Monthly facials provide deep cleaning of the pores, exfoliation and proper hydration, not to mention they are very relaxing!
PCA Chemical peels are great for lines, active acne, rosacea, and discoloration caused from Acne and the sun.
These treatments are done in a series of six treatments every 3 to 4 weeks.
I choose PCA peels in my practice due to the fact that there is no downtime associated with these treatments. Their philosophy is progressive not aggressive!

Eye creams are designed to help reduce fine lines and hydrate the delicate skin around the eye area. The skin around our eyes is also prone to puffiness and dark circles. That is why they make creams specifically for the eye area.
EYE CREAM should be use morning and night and applied to the orbital bone around the eye area with your ring finger (light pressure)
In the evening a good RETINOL will help to even out skin tone and texture and keep those cells turning over at a quicker rate.
HYALURONIC acid is key to holding moisture in your skin. If your skin is excessively dry using a hyaluronic acid serum under your moisturizer will help to lock that moisture in.
The most important step and your beauty routine is daily SUNSCREEN!
Radiation from the sun breaks down the collagen and elastin in your skin causing fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, and skin cancer!
