Day of Coordinator Vs Wedding Planner

Many brides ask the question 'What is the difference between a 'Day of Coordinator' and a 'Wedding Planner'?
Although it is true that a Day of Coordinator works with you mostly the day of your wedding, and a planner can work with you up to a year before your wedding, they both have different services that they provide.
A 'Day of Coordinator' can provide:
Decorating Services
Guest Assistance & Special Requests
Initial Consultation
Consultation to go over every detail
Vendor Consultations
Coordination of all deliveries, vendors and inventory
Time Line for day of wedding
Wedding day coordination
Distribution of Gratuities
Distribution of any Floral arrangements, gifts, favors, baskets, etc.
Emergencies (Inclement Weather Accommodations, Guest Travel coordination, etc...)
Full Wedding Planning Packages include:
Preferred Vendor List including unique Venue's, Catering, Rentals, Entertainment, Photography, Videography, Limousines, Floral Designers and more....
Creating a planning calender
Research from A - Z (very important)
Contract reviews
Unlimited One-on-One consultations
Coordinating of out-of-town guest accommodations & travel arrangements
Creating the wedding that reflects your personality and dreams
Theme and Floral design
Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner coordination
Wedding Day Time Line
On site for the full day of wedding
Remember all companies do not provide the same services. Some of the services will differ depending on the companies specialties. My background is in Interior Design, so we provide decorating services.
