Baby Blessings!!!

Recently it seems like there are babies everywhere! Many of my past couples, including some LIW brides, have been calling for blessings.
What do you say when any one tradition just doesn't fit you?
All the things that are in your heart is the answer.
Gratitude for this perfect child, for community, for the responsibility of parenthood. Prayers and water blessings if they work for you, pledges of community support, readings or secular type blessings that invite everyone to ask in their own way that this child will be protected and guided in goodness through out life.

They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.

The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;

so He loves also the bow that is stable.'
