About Harpist Katharine Saxton
Harp music during the ceremony is beautiful.
Navigating the coordination of music selections for your ceremony, cocktail hour (or both) is fun. Sitting with you, or chatting over the phone about the selections helps me to understand exactly what you want.
Selecting the perfect soundtrack for the ceremony can sometimes come quickly, and sometimes is a bit of a dance. I have worked with other musicians, music directors, and even a client’s musical friend or family member that wants to perform, to make the music perfect. It is not just my job, but my pleasure to make that happen for you.
Also, I arrive prior to the start time of the event, to allow set up (park, move harp, chat with Maitre D’, tune harp) and importantly, I carry liability insurance, should your venue require it.
If this is what you are looking for, I am happy to chat with you about it.
Please contact me for any specific questions, including availability or music selections.

'Performing for the bride and groom at their wedding ceremony has to be one of the most rewarding experiences I have professionally. To be included in such a profound part of the couples’s lives really says a lot to me, about how they feel about music and specifically, the harp music I play. And the cocktail hours are just so much fun! I am so lucky to be doing what I love.'
What type of services do you offer?
I offer live harp music for special events such as weddings, cocktail hours, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.
What types of music do you play?
