I just attended a wedding here and it is a very nice establishment. Particularly due to the fact that it hosts one wedding at a time. The coordinator was knowledgeable, but lacked in professionalism. The food was all around absolutely delicious. And while there was an open bar for five hours, some may have been hesitant to make frequent trips to the bar due to the VERY RUDE BARTENDER. Of course it must become stressful serving open bar at a wedding but I witnessed on several occasions the female bartender at the main hall of the Garcia wedding making unnecessary and rude remarks towards the guests. There is NO EXCUSE to be rude to other people at such a joyous occasion when they do not deserve it. Eastwind absolutely losses credibility for allowing such a rude and smart mouthed person to work in they're main hall.

I'm Getting married at the Cottage at East Wind in June. So far, our wedding coordinator, Faith has been extremely responsive. During our consults, she always answers our questions, and concerns. I was particularly concerned with booking a venue as I have celiac disease--but Faith has assured us that our menu can be tailored to accommodate my allergy. Here, you will find a wedding one stop shop, with reputable vendors in relationship to East Wind that ensure the utmost professionalism. The vendors are all separate entities, which is worth mentioning. East Wind does not coordinate with the vendors to schedule them on your day, as this is up to the bride and groom to set up each vendor separately. Some of them also do exclude services and you may want to be sure what is included and what will be additional pricing. The inn is a beautiful setting for photos, and we look forward to staying there on our wedding night. Unfortunately it does book up quickly, but I am told that the bride and groom are priority and hopefully I will be able to check in early to get ready for our event. Thus far, I am so relieved that I chose east wind, as it has everything I wanted in a venue. I look forward to posting an additional review update after the our special day!

The East Wind is a beautiful venue with great food! Our wedding was held in the Southampton ball room and our Maitre D Scott and Bridal Attendant MarieLou were simply amazing. They did such a great job at following our requests which made the party run super smoothly. Best of all, they were always checking up on my husband and I to make sure were well fed and hydrated (we were surrounded by so many people we often forgot to eat and drink). Scott and MaryLou made our party a complete success!! The only reason I am not giving this venue 5 stars, is because our Event Coordinator was often difficult to get a hold of and she could be short on the phone, I often felt rushed off the call. She also took up to a week to get back to us at some point which was quite disappointing. Setting that aside, we had an amazing wedding!!

We just signed our contract on Sunday. EVERYTHING about this process of finding a venue has been 300X easier than I would of ever expected. And that is because of Faith at East Wind. She is so easy to talk to and she listens to every detail you have for her!! I left our first meeting and burst into tears of joy I was so happy! She answers my emails quickly and no matter how silly of a question I have she answers it perfectly! I did ensure she is going to be my point of contact from now until our wedding, I couldn't imagine doing this without her insight, knowledge, or her bubbly personality!! She is amazing! To say I am happy with East Wind during this process is an understatement!

This is a difficult review to write because there are pros and cons. Cons: I"ll start with when I walked into cocktail hour. My guest went up to me and asked why there was the wrong name on the ice luge. Lisa & Danny it said . My dads name is Danny and my ( now ) husband is Dominck !!! I was mortified !!! I feel like if you are spending all this money and our names are on the contracts like the name should be correct. Booking rooms with this place is not easy. No one is friendly and accommodating. Our comped room was a 2 queen size bed suite. When I complained they said we had no other option. I had made up guest bags for all of my guests with info in them for the day after brunch. Upon going to the front desk and asking why everyone did not receive one . The girl had no answer for me. I asked how many were left and there was over 10 bags that were not given out! I spent all that money and time putting them together and half my guests did not receive one and did not know about my day after brunch . I complained and the response was not helpful at no point did they say oh well come back we will give you a comped stay NOTHING ! Pros: My banquet manager was Faith . She is so sweet and easy to work with . Very accommodating and reliable ! My maitre'd was Scott also was excellent. Paid attention to all the details I requested and very pleasant to my guests . I forget my bridal attendants names but she was also excellent no complaints there. Food was amazing !
