I got married this past Saturday at Giorgios, however I wanted to leave a review for Robert Drago, who was our original Banquet Manager when I began to plan my wedding. I planned my wedding in 6 months and I owe it all to Rob. He set me up with vendors that were not only amazing, but really understood the look and theme of what I was going for. Rob certainly knows his stuff, and any future bride should listen to his suggestions and advice! From day 1 Rob treated both my husband and myself like old friends. When I found out Rob was no longer with Giorgios I was a little upset, especially with my wedding being so close.. But both Rob and the amazing staff at Giorgios assured me that everything would be PERFECT, and it was!! Rob went above and beyond what he needed to do and made sure my wedding day was seemless. It was as if he was there!! Robert Drago is a fantastic, genuine person, and he is an AMAZING BM... Chateu is lucky to have him, and I wish him much success!! Love, Krystal and Bobby Vilardi

I never write reviews, but after the experience my husband and I had at Chateau La Mer for our wedding, I felt I had to let other brides know because I can’t believe that I nev3er knew of this amazing venue. My husband and I were so unbelievably happy with our experience at Chateau La Mer. The service was impeccable. Our bm and maitre’d Rob and Bridal attendant Katie were so wonderful, that we didn’t have to want for anything. I was very OCD and controlling about this wedding and I have to say I felt so comfortable trusting Rob and the staff there. The food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about the food among other things about the venue. The best comment I can share is that the food tasted fresh, not like it had been cooked then sat under a heater for 30 minutes. The main ballroom has such a fantastic view and feel. Another comment I received was that the way the room was situated, everyone felt like they were around the dance floor not 14 tables away. I have been to so many weddings – even 80,000.00 ones and I have to say that our wedding at Chateau La Mer was better than some of those big budget ones. My wedding was on the water, at a location with amazing food and a superior staff. If I had to do all again even with a larger budget, I would still book with Chateau La Mer.

One word to describe this place would be incredible! From the food to the service we could not imagine anyone being able to surpass the service we received. My wife and I are still receiving compliments on our Oct. 2010 wedding on how great the food was and how personable the staff was. Not to mention the great job done with our dining room. Special thanks to Lou who made our preparations seem almost seamless and thank you to Nick and the staff for giving us a perfect, memorable night!

Chateau La Mer ... THANK YOU all for making our day MEMORABLE. We would like to thank everyone, for thy excellent attention to detail that you guys provided. The staff was so friendly, always with a smile on there faces. The female Maitree'D and Bridal Attendant... excellent work for being so attentive to detail. Our final Thanks to the man himself ..... Mr. Lou..., which for about a year made us feel like we were communicating with a family member, by always assuring us that our day would be unforgettable. Mr. Lou ..YOU KEPT YOUR WORD, Indeed a day that we will never forget. Our family and friends have not stop talking about our wedding, the food , the drinks,..etc, was EXCELLENT !! Thank you again for all your help and making our day SPECTACULAR !!!!!!

Chateau La Mer did an exceptional job for our wedding day!! Rob and Laura made sure we were taken care of all night long. They were wonderful in every way. We had perfect weather, and were lucky enough to be able to come to our cocktail hour on the boat--such a fun experience that everyone loved. We were in the Bayview Room upstairs during the sunset, and it looked beautiful setting as we made our entrance. 125 people sat upstairs with a photo booth very comfortably! We are so glad we chose Chateau! Our guests all spoke about how wonderful the entrees were, the seafood station at the cocktail hour, and the amazing Viennese Hour. The seafood station was unbelievable! So many lobsters, crab legs, and shrimp--I wish I had more time to spend there. Our guests definitely enjoyed it! The Viennese hour was so much fun--almost anything you could possibly think of for dessert-was there, and friends and family walked away with bags of candy. The giant apple pie flambé was my favorite! Chateau La Mer, Rob, and Laura made our wedding day--everything we wanted and so much more!! If you are considering Chateau for your wedding, go directly to Rob and he will take care of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Love, Holly & Vito
