Photos of the Heart is the best on Long Island, period! We highly recommend them. They have produced wonderful pictures, and were a joy to work with. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how relieving it had been when everything had gone at a hundred miles an hour, to know that we could depend on such an experienced and talented team like Ives and Deb. They were truly professionals and it made everything that much easier. They were even a very calming presence dring a very strssful time such as picture taking. When one of my grromsman decided to dissapear, Ives had kept his cool, rounded the person up, and we still were able to get wonderful pictures. Also, because we lucked out at the East Wind and were able to get pictures in all three spots, Ives had formulated a game plan so that we could get it all done without losing much time. And they did this for us without charging us a penny more. As we now go through our proofs, we have been unable to decide which pictures we like the best because so many of them are perfect. Photos Of The Heart-Debbie and Ives are the best. They took some amazing photos! I definitly recommend seeing your future husbands before the wedding to get all the shots you want. I have so many great pictures I dont know how to narrow it down. Definitly loved them and recommend! Their son in law was also an awesome videographer, very nice and so accomodating! A+

Photos of the Heart took absolutely beautiful pictures!! They were recommended to us by our reception facility (Hamlet Windwatch Golf and Country Club). We have been to numerous weddings and discussed the vendors with the brides and grooms. We took the time to look at several (at least a dozen) photographers. Most had nice-looking displays, but were intent on making a sale. When we met with Ives and Debbie, they were intent on finding out what WE wanted (this was a welcome change!). They helped us go over our itinerary for the day, making sure there was enough time to get in all of the pictures we wanted. Ives showed us his extensive facilities set up in his house--several albums, photos, portraits, journals, etc. He took the time to explain to us how the process worked, step by step. When the day finally came, we were confident we would have great pictures--our expectations were met--and exceeded!! Ives and Debbie took their time, positioning everything you can imagine, from the angle of your knee to the camera, to how to tilt your head. I have since watched other photographers take wedding pictures--most just 'point and click.' We had so many great picture to choose from, it literally took several weeks to decide. Their group shot at the reception is a hit with all who see it. I would highly recommend these photo artists, as well as Mike, the Photos of the Heart Videographer--I never really wanted a wedding video, but I am very glad now that I agreed to get one! Mike did a great job, everyone who has seen it has loved it! Take the time to sit with Ives and Debbie and see what they have to offer--it may cost you a little bit more, but it is worth every penny (and they have an easy payment plan as well).

From beginning to end, we've had a great experience with Ives and Debbie, and any bride and groom that hire them will have wonderful memories from their day. At our first appointment, Ives spent hours (literally!) showing us what makes a good photo, and what makes a great photo, and the time and attention he pays to the details will pay off in your album. As Ives explained to us, he took that time with us so that even if we did not hire them, we would know what to look for when we met other vendors. Plus, they worked with us to find a package that fit our needs and budget. Right up to our big day, they worked with us - even giving us tips on how to ensure the other vendors were prepared and ready to go on the wedding day! On our wedding day, they were quick to set up shots, kept right to our schedule, and were fun to work with. My FG's mom was even impressed that Ives took the time to introduce himself to her, because as he said, if the mom knows me, then the FG will want to pose! (And she did - what cute photos we have of her!) Our proofs came out fabulous, with just the right mix, we think, of posed and fun shots. Plus, they have been so patient working with us planning our albums. My stepdad, who has been to a bunch of weddings in his family, said that our proofs were the best he's ever seen. His praise speaks volumes to me, and says a lot about what kind of quality work Photos of the Heart delivers. Truly, check out Photos of the Heart - you won't regret it!

The most important wedding vendor for both me & my husband from the beginning was the photographer. I was both excited and nervous to choose a photographer because I knew they were in charge of the lasting memory of the most important day of my life. The first photographer we saw was Photos of the Heart. This amazing husband and wife team sat with me and my husband for four hours taking the time to explain every detail of their work and creativity. They gave us wonderful and helpful tips on how to make our wedding day run as smoothly as possible from their years and years of experience in the wedding business. Debbie & Ives were amazing from day one. We booked them right on the spot, cancelling all other photography appointments we had scheduled. For the full year prior to our wedding they were always touching base with us and letting us know that they were there if we ever needed anything. When my wedding day arrived they were there ontime and ready to work, dressed in elegant evening attire. These two amazing photographers worked so well with each other. This made taking pictures easy, fast, painless and fun. The photos they take are unique, perfectly posed, incredible 'photos of the heart'. Our proofs were ready for us in just days. They were waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon and Ives & Debbie had already put them all in order along with their professional recommendations for the wedding album. And once again when it was time to choose the photos for the wedding album they spent endless hours with us doing so. Our album is the most precious thing I have ever seen and I know if it wasn't for Debbie & Ives dedication to what they do, their willingness to answer any questions at any time of the day, their excellent teamwork, we would not have the memories that we do of our wedding day.
