- 1. Tell us about BeKa Photography and the inspiration behind the Company:
In 2010 sisters Becky and Katy Peralta set out to transform their love for the arts and fashion into a visual fusion of colors and contemporary chic themes by founding BeKa Photography. Gifted with a visionary and innovative artistic eye, every photograph conceptualized and created by BeKa expresses timeless beauty, innocence, nature, and glamour. Whether photographing weddings, special events, the raw beauty of innocent children or the sometimes-fabricated beauty of glamorous models, BeKa possesses a keen ability to capture beauty in all of its forms. BeKa’s photographers are already adding their unique blend of beauty, glamour, and artistic expression to the art of photography while flourishing as artists and inspirational human beings.
BeKa is based in New York but is available for travel worldwide.
- 2. Do you have a company motto/philosophy and if so what is it?
- Capture it all!!! These photos mean the world to our clients, since we are two photographers, we are able to capture and get those memories through our photos.

- We are devoted to you 100% and we will help your day run as smoothly as possible. We are dedicated to providing our clients that one on one attention. We are here for you every step of the way.
- 4. What sets you apart from other photographers?
- We are a sister team, two main photographers who are filled with lots of positive energy, charisma and personality.
- 5. How do you help a couple achieve their dream wedding?
As with most couples, it is their first time getting married and they need guidance. As photographers we have a duty with our clients to help them feel at ease as we build up to the “BIG” day. On our initial meetings, we normally guide our couples on what a typical wedding day consists of from getting ready all the way to the reception. Most couples prepare for the big day by of course, having their attire ready, flowers, music, photography and food. One of the biggest issues we see which is often overlooked is time management. When we meet with a potential couple, we let them know the importance of a timeline, why? Because the final product is a storyline of the day. It helps us as photographers keep a timeline of the most important photos and the client won’t look back and say that a family portrait with a grandparent for example was not taken. We strive to make sure that the happy couple looks back at those photos and feels emotions when that photo was taken.
