“I take the time to get to know my couples and personalize the wedding ceremony to suit their specific needs. Each ceremony I perform captures the personal warmth and love that is the essence of the couple and is infused with just a touch of humor to insure the most memorable wedding celebration possible. Couples also appreciate the knowledge I impart on them from my own 50+ years of marriage.”

As a Captain, I offer wedding ceremonies and a renewal of vows ceremony on land, at sea and in the air.
Seems everyone wants a Captain in just about any nautical atmosphere, even alongside a big puddle.
What types of “religious” ceremonies can you perform?
While my ceremony is mostly non-denominational, I do offer some religious ceremonies, as well as the joining of different cultures. In the Hispanic tradition, I offer the “ceremony of the 13 gold coins” and “El lazo.” I can also provide the beautiful “Wine Ceremony” and the words can also be spoken in Hebrew and of course the “Breaking of the Glass” ceremony. If the couple wishes me to perform certain ceremonies that are part of their culture or heritage, I oblige them. And of course the ever popular Unity Candle Ceremony, Sand Ceremony, Rose Ceremony and Child’s Ceremony to name some popular one’s.
Do you conduct interfaith ceremonies?
I conduct interfaith, intercultural and interracial wedding ceremonies. As long as the couple has a legal marriage license to get married, I’m available to perform their wedding ceremony
How far in advance should a couple book with you?
When a couple books their wedding facility, that’s when they should contact me to see if I’m available. Some couples retain my services as far as 2 years in advance. I have performed as many as 4-6 weddings in one day, so, as long as I can space them apart leaving me with enough travel time. The toughest part of being a wedding Officiant is saying “I’m not available” to a couple because of a conflict in the day and time of a wedding ceremony that I may have with another couple
Do you have any special requirements for marrying a couple?
No special requirements are needed for marrying a couple. They must have a valid marriage license of course, and I do provide the couple with a bride and groom “check list” a few weeks before the wedding day so that I have certain personal information that will help me in preparing a personalized beautiful ceremony. I’m always available to my couples 24/7 and for those that would like to meet with me; I’m always available for them.
