I would advise anyone that is looking to do a wedding block to NOT do it at the Viana. The booking process for my friends and family using our booking code was a nightmare. Our block was for Friday night, but we had many guests that wanted to stay Thursday and some friends from out of town that wanted to stay the full weekend. The Viana would only allow our code to be used for a Friday night reservation and a separate booking had to be made for additional nights. We had friends that had to switch rooms the morning of our wedding because they couldn’t make the two separate bookings be for the same room (Thurs-Sat). Erin is the social sales manager and the only person that deals with wedding room blocks. She would take weeks to respond to an email and was never available when I called to hotel. When I called the hotel weeks leading up to our wedding asking for how many rooms were booked in the block it was absolute chaos. I would be put on hold just for the same person to come back and start listing names of guests that I never heard of, not realizing she wasn’t looking at the correct block. I’m all for mistakes, but this happened 3 different times, the 3 different weeks I called. The 4th time I called for the final count of rooms and guests, the woman on the phone said she would email me a list of the block information, not sure why that couldn’t happen previously. The final straw was the night of my wedding. Because our venue was Westbury Manor, we were able to get a shuttle for our guests both to and from our venue (free if at least 8 rooms are booked in your block.) The shuttles at the end of the night were supposed to be running continuously to get all of my guests back to the hotel to continue the party in the hotel lobby bar. Our wedding ended at 12am and at the end of the night my husband and I said goodbye to guests, tipped our vendors, and got our bridal suite stuff together and then went out to catch a shuttle. By that time is was around 12:30pm. I walked outside of Westbury Manor and the first shuttle was only leaving to go back to the hotel with over 35 guests waiting outside (the shuttle was booked from 11:30pm to 1:30am). After waiting an additional 20 minutes (the hotel is 6 mins down the block….) my brother, brother-in-law, and 2 bridesmaids called separate Ubers to bring us back with all of our stuff to the hotel. Once at the hotel bar, the bartenders were extremely rude. They made last call at 1:30am (when the bar is supposed to close at 2am) and refused to serve any more drinks. The bar was PACKED at that time with not only my guests, but guests from another wedding block as well. Not only that but the few drinks that my friends did get they asked for Tito’s, but got well vodka and then charged for Tito’s until one of our groomsmen called them out on it

We had a great stay from the night before our wedding until the Tuesday after when we checked out! All the staff are extremely attentive and accommodating, and the hotel provided shuttle service back from the venue at the end of the night! We indulged in the staycation package as a mini-moon the day after the wedding and it was well worth it for the most amazing massages after dancing the night away! Erin was amazing from helping us with our room block to my 300 questions leading up to the big day! Great place for a getaway or to book rooms for your wedding!

We attended a wedding at Jericho Terrace and this is where we stayed. I can't say enough good things about the Hotel and their accommodating staff. From arrival to departure everything went very smoothly. We were provided transportation to and from the wedding and when there was a snag with the flowers being left behind they were right there to help us help the bride and groom get what they wanted without a hitch. There's a nice breakfast offering in the morning for anyone staying over; there's a bar and pool room as well. If you in the area a need to lay your head in a clean room with a marvelous staff; look no further.

We stayed, along with 50 plus guests, at the Viana for a family wedding. In addition to staying for 3 nights, we hosted a dinner for 80 plus guests and a breakfast. Erin Herlihy coordinated everything and saw to it that each detail was perfectly executed. She is the consummate professional and did it all with a smile and panache. Jasmine Thweatt also deserves special mention for making our visit exceptional. Inez was our point person for the dinner and breakfast and she too was fabulous. Each and every individual was wonderful and welcoming- from the wait-staff, bartenders, maintenance crew, etc.... everyone without exception. The food was yummy as well and the rooms are nicely appointed. I hope to have the opportunity to stay at the Viana again.

Excellent Hotel & Even Better Staff We blocked off hotel rooms at Viana for our wedding and we were extremely pleased with the results. The staff is amazing. We constantly asked them questions and making requests and they accommodated us at every step. The hotel & spa is a little more pricey than others in the area, but absolutely worth it. They have a nice spa downstairs, a main bar in the lobby and a FREE game room that we utilized each night we stayed there for some late night fun since it's open 24/7. They have a pool table, board games and a giant tv if you want to watch the game.
