Everyone is still telling me how amazing the location was and how good the food was. I loved it here and Steve def took care of me and my groom. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they told me when i booked that the ceremony room could sit 170 and it could only sit 155- so people had to stand. Also i found out that thou i dropped off decor to be set up, they did not set it up, thankfully i had a coordinator who did.

The most incredible place and the most attentive staff. Jason was our Maitre D' and he did a AMAZING job. A true professional, detailed oriented....Miriam is defintely the lady to talk to, as she knows her stuff. She worked so hard to make sure we had everything for our wedding. Ben, he is a true gentleman and all I need to say is that the ENTIRE staff worked very hard to make a magical night come true for us....here's the last thing about the Bourne that I will say....Guest's of ours said they would have loved to get married again....at the BOURNE !!!

I wanted a unique and elegant location for my wedding and The Bourne Mansion more than exceeded what I could have ever hoped for. I can not tell you how many guests raved about the location and the food. Many of them are using the backgrounds at the Bourne for their holiday cards this year! Every member of the staff who attended to my wedding was extremely professional and truly amazing. Steve (our Matire D) was so attentive to me and my husband and we could not be more appreciative. I highly recommend The Bourne Mansion!

My husband and I decided to hold our October 14, 2011 wedding reception at the Bourne Mansion. We had seen the beautiful photos of the venue online and in magazines – to be honest the venue is far more amazing in person. As you drive up to the mansion the awe-inspiring view of the building will make you speechless. Once you enter, you will travel from one room to the next, each more beautiful than the previous one. The part of the Bourne Mansion that blew us away, far more than the appearance, was the service we received the day of our wedding. I was a corporate event /meeting planner for almost 10 years and have worked in some of the highest service rated venues in the U.S. (Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Abigail Kirsch’s Pier Sixty/The Lighthouse, among others. The service my guests, husband, and I received was a quality far above any other. Steve Melita was our head maître d'. Far beyond the standard, “he always made sure my glass was full”, that you hear about every maître d', Steve was “THE MAN” (there are no other words to describe his level of dedication and service). If the expression on my face changed he was there asking what I needed. He somehow managed to be in five places at once – always being where he was needed and taking care of everything. He really got to know our bridal party/parents and was awesome at getting everyone revved up prior to our reception entrances. Although he was working, Steve seemed to enjoy the night as much as we did. He really enjoys his job, which made the experience even more amazing for us. We honestly cannot say enough about how amazingly wonderful he was! Not just Steve, but the entire staff at the Bourne really goes above and beyond on your wedding day to make sure everything is executed to perfections. They work with all your external vendors (florists, cake, band, etc) to make sure the night flows great and even are able to make quick solutions if a vendor is less than professional. We experienced some problems the band- Steven and the staff were able to work through the problem and get them in line before we even knew there was a problem. The staff is professional, polite, and always willing to do the little extras for the guests. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

I fell in love with the Bourne right away. Dealing with them was absolutely a breeze, from booking to the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding my husband and I walked around in amazement at the place. Our MaitreD was on top of everything, he did not miss a thing. I could go on and on about the Bourne.
