Anything weird, funny, annoying happen at your wedding?

Near the end of our CH, the gf of one of DHs good friends (I had never met her before and had heard that no one can stand her and they all think she's weird), came up to me and says, 'Oh, before you are introduced in the reception, you should put on this makeup I have in my bag' I was like, 'oh yeah. . . whatever' and tried to ignore her, but she kept insisting and would not leave me alone. I finally just looked at her like 'really?!?!?!' and was like, 'no, thanks, I think I'm good' And then she says 'Well. . . how old are you?' (She is way older than me for sure) And again I just looked at her like she was crazy and said 'I can't believe you would ask a bride that on her wedding day', and walked away. The scene keeps replaying in my head and it just makes me laugh. When I told DH about it he was like - 'what??? She is so weird.' On any other day, I probably would have been pretty pi**ed off if this happened, but when I think about it now, it just makes me laugh.

Anyone else have anything happen that you just keep thinking - 'that was so unbelievable, weird, funny, etc. Did that really happen?'

at my wedding, i'm told that one of the guests (we still don't know who it was) was yelling at the banquet manager because one of the captained stations at CH was a chinese station ... apparently, the guest was extremely angered by this saying 'how DARE you have Chinese food at a Jewish wedding!'

um... helloooo!? Jews love Chinese food!

i still wish i knew who this mystery guest was though! i'm 100% sure it was on DH's side though - nobody on my side is that insane

1- a guest was smoking pot during dinner, while sitting down easting dinner. Yes it was my side, yes i knew who it was. REALLY??!!! W T F

2- my cousin made out with a bartender.. AT THE BAR!!!! Yay for my cuz-- but thats super unprofesh!

on both counts!

one of my friends from OOT got a bit wasted and was hitting on a GM pretty bad. He is in a complicated relationship and I think he felt pretty uncomfortable. Nothing happened but it was sooo obvious she was all over him (especially at the hotel after the wedding). nothing happened though and I'm happy about it!

So many stories, I'd rather not post...... one funny one though.....

One of my guests warned me the Sunday before that I will see a whole new side of him. And I surely did, he was dancing with my 80+ year old great aunt, doing air guitar and dancing with his knees on the ground. Later that night, I said 'You had a great time with my aunt huh?' He's said, 'I love Aunt Nancy!' Meanwhile this guest is 40. LOL!

Two days before our wedding dh's step mom called and asked if her daughter could come with a date. She was invited alone and never rsvp'd. we were short on numbers so we said yes in order to prevent family drama. Well, her date was a weirdo and is all over my video! I don't even know the guy! So annoying! There was also drama involving my MIL, BIL and this step sister. Family drama is so stupid!!!

Something humorous....my uncle came in a Hawaiian shirt khakis and sandals!!! I thought it was funny, but others gave him looks! He's from the west coast and heard yacht club, how would he know it was so formal!!! Even DH thought it was awesome!

Well you all know about my grandpa tripping and essentially stopping my wedding for a good 30-45 minutes lol

I also found out that a group of our friends were smoking pot behind the venue and one girl (who I can not stand) was coked out of her mind

Also, my one of my BMs and her date just up and left the wedding right after dinner. We were trying to track her down to take a group shot, but her sister (my MOH) called and found out she left. Yeah, real nice.

Anddddd to top it all off, my SIL got knocked up that night as well

Weird, funny, annoying - I could write a book!!


1. We had a wedding crasher. DH's best friend's little brother was invited alone - his GF from Sweeden surprised him, so he brought her to the wedding. They were just going to lurk around while people were eating, so DH and I fixed that, but the A@@ left after ordering dinner - ORDERING not eating!!!!

2. DHs sister (who is older than I - 33) set us back 1.5 hours. I bought my girls hangers for their dresses - she forgot hers - BLAMED me (that I didn't tell her to bring it. Then took a xanex and bawled like a child until I had a BM bring her back to get hers. She then had the NERVE to come out while DH and I were taking pictures to tell us that we were missing our wedding. Hello - if you didn't put us back, this would have been done much earlier!!!! Not to mention, she was supposed to be in my room by 5am for hair and mamkeup - she ended up waltzing in at 6 - ***!

I hit the chandelier with my bouquet toss...and broke 2 or 3 pieces of glass thankfully it didnt land on anyone

DH is Jewish, I’m Catholic and we had a 5 minute non-denominational ceremony. First- all of DH’s family sat on the left side with mine, leaving only his mother sitting in the first 2 rows on the right – luckily his sister ran over to sit with her during the ceremony.

This one is the best. DJ & photog knew each other, DJ tells photog, photog tells DH & I when went to pick up our proofs:
After the ceremony the DJ is standing around and DH’s grandmother goes up to the DJ, says “give me that glass sitting next to you”, throws it on the floor and yells “Mazel Tov!” and then tells the DJ “That’s how it should be done!”

one of my BMs dad came to me at the receiving line and said, 'Wow that dress is tight'....gee nice to see you too! He was saying it in a very disapproving way too, not like dam n girl you look good.

My sister caught the Bo'k, and the GMs made it so her BF would catch the garter. Well when he starts putting it on her, she whips out her legs from under her long dress and she has on these awesome black and white witch type tight on under. It was soo funny!

I had on a Cathedral Train for the ceremony. When my dad was about to take his seat, and as i just started walking forward up onto the altar, my dad steps on my cathedral train (didn't he see it and pick it up for me to get in the car? ) It was almost comical, like a movie because my head almost snapped back and my body was trying to move forward. my veil fell off and my DOC was trying to put it back on and everyone was motioning for everyone else to stay seated. meanwhile my mother runs up to the altar with the veil floating in the air to re-attach it to my hair.
needless to say, i told my videographer to cut this out of the video.

The biggest annoyance was on of my BM at the end who showed up almost 2 hrs late to the RD...I made it super clear be at my house at 7am because you need to get hair done first. She shows up at 8:30 or a little later, saying her alarm didn't go off. She has an excuse for everything. And guess how far away she lived??? 5 mins down the damn street!

during our recieving line one of my distant relatives not sure who whispered to DH 'enjoy your Holloway in Aruba' which was a weird, innappropiate and creepy thing to say. I wish DH didnt wait till the wedding was over to tell me I'm dying to know who from my side would say such a thing.

1 - My friends were so wasted that they decided it would be a good idea to take their shoes off. One friend's husband didn't want to, so the other husbands followed him into the bathroom to take his shoes off while he was peeing and couldn't fight back.

2 - We had a juice bar at the VH where there were whole carrtos available. The same friends mentioned above thought it would be a great idea to take the carrots and use them in a sword fight and then used them as unicorn horns and have unicorn fights with them on the dancefloor

3 - At the rehearsal, the deacon kept calling my dad by my stepfather's name and my stepfather by my dad's name (they are really close...Ron and Rob)

4 - My cousins husband was so wasted that every opportunity possible, he tried to slow dance with my DH...we call him my DH's new BFF!

5 - DH's grandfather is 91 years old and say anything that he wants. My grandmother went over to say hello to him again (they've met many times before). Apparently he didn't remember her because when she asked, 'do you remember me?' Grandpa Ed turned to my grandmother and said, 'I always forget a name, but turn around, let me see your a*s*s because I never forget a good one of those!'

The volunteers at my church were nasty to my photographer after he said an innocent joke...we were taking pics, and the woman jumps in and says that's enough, and my photographer said 'ok, smile!'.

she gave him the look of death. lol.
